Pepe and Kat

Kat and Pepe came round so that I could take some portrait photographs of them both. After I had finished Pepe's shoot I decided that this would be a great opportunity to put a joiner together. So, I took a lot of photos and have put them all together here. It took me a really long while and a little way into putting it together my file got corrupted and ended up getting fluorescent coloured lines through it. It also merged my layers together so I couldn't move them even though I had saved it as a photoshop file. Luckily I managed to fix it by erasing some of the squares so you couldn't see the lines and then copying another square into its original place. I am really pleased with the result of my joiner. I wasn't sure whether to add to it a little more, but I'm glad I didn't because of the odd shape it turned into is really interesting. The one thing I did differently here that I haven't done with the previous joiners was to move some of the squares so some objects would align, rather than making sure there was an equal white line between each photograph. For example, I have done this on Pepe where the edge of my chest of draws meet, but his face doesn't.
Also, I know I said 'equal' white lines but in reality my lines are not equal. I have done this deliberately as to me it gives it more character.
To add to this I would also like to say that the reason I like this joiner so much is because it looks like some kind of 'backstage' image. This is because I had taken and uploaded a portrait of Pepe in this situation, however you couldn't see his surroundings. My lighting is present in this image pointing at Pepe, and then you've got Kat in the shadows looking on from the sidelines.
